Good Day to all. I decided to place in this part of forum since these are pre cancels. Was going threw a large bundle of Pre cancels recently purchased along with other mix stamps.
Since the US World Series of baseball this week, I wanted to be express alittle bit of fun to assess these two stamps. I took my Babe Ruth's stamp out in honor of Baseball..lol
These stamps could be common ( foul) and possibly a far stretch for Scotts 423a and 423d (homerun), but carry Bureau cancellations on the 1 cent Washington green that caught my attention. The perforations need to be double checked because wondering if they are them. I am having a difficult time with the inverted Chicago Ill, with the vertical perforations. Are these considered a home run, or another foul and have to continue to try again..lol..Appreciate any assistance..
Thank you in advance..

a 423a is a compound perf stamp, I'm guessin you saw the one listed on ebay and you should also note that stamp has perf 12 top and bottom
