Got one. Didn't know it was rare though. The upper right corner puts it in my space filler category. Only 404 I have.

SF HS-12 is rather complicated, there are many listed in the new PSS classics catalog. Items listed at 0.00 are rumored but unverified.

and another place were the values may be off because I have liked these and been getting them way before I ever thought about playing with precancel stamps. Sometimes they are in demand and sometimes not, I have many and always get them if they cheap but if I have not even seen a double they must be worth way more than listed. The regular ones look pretty acurate.

This is the only PanPac double I have been able to buy in 30+ years of collecting precancels. I think all the doubles of PanPac's are more than 100 times scarcer than the normals. Perfins are tough also, the 10c is EKC [Kodak]. The two 404's I posted I do not own, they were offered on ebay within the last 20 years and I was an underbidder.
You will find precancel prices very inelastic, in that raising the nominal, catalog, value will often not bring more supply on the market. This makes precancel collecting both frustrating and fascinating. Be prepared to search hard!

Seems like every time I get on this website, I'm digging through my stock books to look for items that seem familiar. That is the joy of discovering this forum, much to be learned here. Thanks to all that take the time to contribute.. I have found some stamps that I didn't feel had much value due to ignorance. I downloaded the pre- cancel pages from PSS website. Looks like a new area to dive into.
