wow! It must be in error on the sellers part. I see he doesn't sell stamps. Probably a no knowledge listing if he believes they are worth that! Found in a thrift store. A reason why they were there. Looks like that is where all his lots come from. A lot of people are going to thrift stores buying clothing for a dollar and putting on ebay for 10, 15, 20 dollars! Quite the biz! |

Well they took my advice and changed it to $20,000. I almost feel a little bad and guilty. |

Dw9540, you ought to be ashamed of yourself! Just kidding of course. There is a very good lesson for all of us here. A lot of folks don't know a thing about stamps and if you bid on something unseen you never know what is going to happen! Buyer beware. Of course, no stamp collector is going to fall for this one?

I was originally just trying to sell my great aunts collection (and ended up catching the collecting bug) just over 2 years ago and I know that when I started trying to sell her collection I was very optimistic based on what I know now. But $20k is just downright lazy. I did maybe 10 minutes of research and was asking for $25 OBO for stuff that was maybe worth a couple bucks. |

Hmmm, what would $20,000 be in Confederate dollars? Undoubtedly, it would still be worth more than the stamps. |

People need the collectors to give them real advice though, next week when he is in here trying to find out what part is worth all the money?????????? I'm sure Dw 9540 will buy it for the 20 K so we dont have to try to explain it to the seller. |

this is sad with such limited information...poor thing wants WHAT for these stamps????? I am shaking my head. What certified rarity is in this book??? A buyer is suppose to go with these pages alone without this complete view? I want to see the whole book and no, I am not buying it from this seller.. Seller does not show the beginning pages of the book either in the pictures.Seller is trying to make people interested what possibilities it may bring?...no thank you.... I want to know why Seller priced it.. Does it have a certified autographed by someone special VIP Texan saying it is a memory collection that he bought from a thrift store it in the front of the book? lol. this is too much... Blazenstar, please read the sale description. There is only the one page you see, with stamps on both sides!

DW9540 Quote: I told him that $5,000 was too low and that he should be asking for at least $20,000. Soooooo… what drugs are YOU on … and ARE you sharing?!? Weren't you taught not to tease the handicapped? |
