blazenstar - In my opinion, no one this forum has posted responses with any form of harassment towards you.

Quote:
It is none of your business if I own a business.

You seem offended by being challenged on aspects of your personal life, and yet it is under your screen-name that claims of European nobility and royalty have been made; of having run a stamp company and other businesses; of a life of wealth, philanthropy and celebrity. When one acts in this manner on the internet, where body language and tone-of-speech and other non-verbal cues cannot be interpreted, one must expect to be challenged on those statements. (or worse...)

I know that you are capable of putting forth good topics - such as this one. I learned something from a well-posed question and my time reading it was well-spent.

Unfortunately, you also put forth topics such as this one. Perhaps you truly were unsure about the straight-edge, but when you immediately bring dies and proofs and part-imperf revenues into the discussion, your fellow members here are most definitely permitted to respond in the manner we have.

Indeed, I learned from this question as well - that a good laugh improves on my disposition when the day has started poorly. Thank you! smiles and hahahaha

No..i am a old lady. I am intelligent in more ways than one..and I see how some have harrassed, why would I want to share that information for them to continue this troll behavior when not necessary? I am very kind, but I will defend myself when I am harrassed for no reason at all.
I was just sharing stamps like others that may post.

Then by all means, continue to share stamps with us for discussion and learning opportunities. Kindly do so simply as a fellow stamp collector, without any imperial princess references.

This stamp is a R175 5 dollar orange with a very nice cancellation. Although not very valuable, still like the position on the stamp..smiles

Nicer than mine, which has a slit-cut cancel and poorer centering.

Kevin, continued mockery does a disservice to this community. I find this whole thread pretty disappointing in terms of how we respectfully treat others. There's no way to be sure of someone's actual background on a forum unless you have met or spent some time with them. And the truth is, unless someone posting is out to cause harm, the proper response to perceived eccentricities is to let them go. Not to find ways to rationalize reasons they deserve to be mocked or harassed. Because when you start to make up stories in your head that justify bad behavior, you cross the line into bullying.

There aren't enough stamp collectors still standing to belittle any one of them. Certainly not for their curiosity, nor for their grammar if English is clearly a second language for them. You know what mother said to do when you can't say something nice...
