http://www.stampworldhistory.com/ is an entirely non-commercial site providing information on the historical context of stamps issued worldwide. Recently StampWorldHistory has reached a milestone in that complete sets of country profiles are now available for all stamp issuing countries of past and present on the continents of Africa and Asia. A country profile provides information on the political and postal history of a country. Thus for Africa close to 160 country profiles are available and for Asia over 80.

When you are already a visitor of StampWorldHistory: thanks for visiting. When you are new to StampWorldHistory: maybe now's the time to check it out.

Incredible site- very valuable information especially for the WW collector. The maps are information dense and very well done.

Kudos!
