I just found out that we can access Linn's weekly magazine downloads only thru the weekly emails that they send us. Previously, we could access the downloaded magazines right on their website. This change came about three or four weeks ago according to Customer Service. Thought everybody should know.
I got my renewal notice for Linn's today. I'll be renewing, but only for a year at a time. My thinking is that this company is so godawful inept that I don't trust them to still be around in 2 years.
That's what I did. I called them today and renewed one year only. My subscription expires next week. Disturbingly, they had my credit card on file. If I ever dump them, I guess I'll have to dump the card too!
Evidently Linn's is having some serious problems with their electronic version. I tried downloading today and it just went blank. Two issues ago they had the same problem. I was able to download their 11/16 issue but not 11/9 nor this weeks. really a bummer system.
I don't currently subscribe to Linn's, however, I did purchase some items through Amos Advantage awhile ago, so they have my email address and send me weekly updates about items on sale, etc. I got the latest email this weekend; clicked on what was an item I wanted more detail about and got the error message:
"Amos Advantage is currently down for "maintenance" ... please call customer service for assistance."
I tried again just now and still get the same message. Here we are at what should be the height of their selling season with Black Friday coming up very quickly and they don't even have a website available to make any purchases!
