OK, I don't really collect this area, but I love fly-specking. What is this diagonal line in my poor copy of R4c? It goes from the top right, through the throat, and out through the "L" of Telegraph. In addition, there is another small diagonal line at the bottom left. Just curious.
Sometimes the only example we have of a certain plate variety or cancel is on a tattered stamp. This is especially true of some of the Proprietary cancels.
