I am trying to print my stampalbums.com pages on two sides (front and back) to save some shelf space. So I need a way to offset every other page slightly (~0.5"). Has anyone tried this or have a solution?

locobot, They are PDF files so your printing options are somewhat limited.
But if you go to the PDF Print 'Page Setup' you can set the left or right margins. This will, of course, result in every page margin being set. But you can then use the Print Range to print only every other page (i.e. print pages 1,3,5,7,9 etc). Print these only on one side. Then turn these over in your printer, set margins where you want them for that side, and print every other page again (2,4,6,8,etc.).
Its a bit of a work-around but will work. Don |

I was looking at that. There is an option to print even or odd, but my version will not allow me to change the margin under page setup (Acrobat Standard XI). I am OK with printing this way as I will have to cut and splice the BOB sections anyway. |

Are you launching the PDF inside the browser (via PDF plugin) or downloading the PDF and then using standalone Adobe Acrobat? You might try downloading and using the standalone app and avoid trying it through the browser. Don |

Just use Draw from LibreOffice , it's free, you can open and mod the PDF, I use it to center all my pages as I insert them in plastic protectors, I also remove the expensive stamps. https://www.libreoffice.org/ |

You can also easily convert them to PowerPoint if you are more familiar and comfortable using that program. There is a free app for that.

area66,
I wonder how much space, if any, do you save by placing them front and back in plastic sleeves vs the added thickness of the sleeves themselves?

I don't want to save space, I place them on 4" 2 posts binders. If a stamp is cheap, I just hinge it, if not I use a mount, that makes the pages easy to turn without having problems with hinged stamps falling off the pages. The Unitrade 4" binders cost less than $ 20, require only to make 2 new hole in the plastic bracket to adjust to the plastic holes. I take more space but it's more convenient than turn pages in 3 rings binders. |

Print them one sided and use sheet protectors to hold the pages.
Trying to edit the pages might screw up the layout of the fonts. |

I tried to put two of my Steiner pages back to back and put them in a page protector and found it to be almost impossible. The stamps were hinged and they kept getting caught on the plastic page protector |

Put the album page between two blank sheets, slip all three sheets into page protector, remove blank sheets.

Update: LibreOffice: The imported pages in resulted in added characters to the text, especially around values.
Scribus: This seems to be the best option but you loose all graphics (overprints, wm) that are included in the Steiner pages and allot of the values disappear.
Still working on this.... |

It's easier to convert them to PowerPoint, no shifting of text or added text, etc. Then, just select everything on the page, and move it over to the left. I'm now printing my pages front and back and placing in a page protector. Works great! |

You obviously do something wrong or your computer is not set-up properly, because I don't have this issue . |
