You should be able to find them on Stampworld

http://www.stampworld.com/en/

or get a copy of a stamp catalogue (Scott, if you're in the US) from your local library.

OMG, do a little work yourself rather than asking readers here to identify more than 40 stamps. And over half have the country name in English so that you can start there. And what do you mean by "No clue of their history"? I can identify every one of them, but I have no clue of their history either.

Floortrader: I think that the 'U.S.' is an abbreviation.

Mines, please overlook my colleagues' impatience; they don't get enough roughage in their diet.

If you still need to identify some of your stamps (the foreign language ones for instance although with very little effort they can be found online) you should post only a few at a time and perhaps group similar ones... USA with USA... India with India... GB with GB etc

Some of your stamps are damaged and that will be an indication that they are probably worthless.... for instance...

You can still post these damaged ones for identification purposes if it is only the "history" you need... by this I presume you need the year of printing, number in set, reason for printing etc. Many of your stamps will have been part of a set (in some cases large sets) so if you wish to continue collecting, it may help to know how many you need to complete certain sets.

The first guy informed me where to look and thank you to those who are decent enough to answer a question rather than bring their personal attitudes they carry in life and place it upon others which isn't godly. These are the people we must pray for, and I say to you DO ON TO OTHERS AS YOU WILL HAVE OTHERS DO ON TO YOU....Why are you on this board or even answering questions GLENN if you do not want to help ....get rid of the demon...God can help...give him a try. As for me I think I will just go to another forum this one and one of its people Glenn isn't so nice and a people person

I think everyone that has contributed to this topic would assist you in a lot of ways... but it is a valid point and good advice that you should be prepared to do a little "leg-work" and post stamps that are difficult to identify regarding country of origin etc and not the obviously easily identified.
Moving on... some of your stamps, while not being of financial value, have philatelic interest to many people here. I see two of your GB stamps have postmarks... One has LOMBARD STREET (a London postmark) and another stamp has a nice WATERLOO STREET GLASGOW postmark. By posting a few at a time and as a country group you may find others will see things that are missed in the mass of mixed stamps you have posted.

LOMBARD ST postmarks...

To the OP, in terms of the stamps' history, these are all pretty much common, ordinary stamps that were used in various countries around the world. Most date from about the 1920's to the 1950's, but a few are from earlier than that. They are interesting bits and pieces of another time and place, but they have basically no monetary value as they are all very common and/or beat up. These are the kinds of stamps that turn up in a 100-stamps-for-a-dollar packs.
