Am I the only ebay user getting annoyed at a particular seller who uses the above thread title on each and every single listing he puts on his listings?
It sure messes up any search I try to do for the word 'album'. Probably this is a petty complaint- he has the right to use whatever he deems proper in his listings but come on- EVERY stamp he sells is from a 'quality old album'?
Is it any worse than the RARE stamps you can buy for less then 5.00 or lots that are unsearched even though you see a picture of every item in the lot. Its not like I have ever seen a comercial that says you really shouldnt buy this so we should be used to the upsell.
Everyone knows that "unchecked" or "unpicked" is pure bull-funky. No one, collector or dealer can resist going through a pile of unknown stamps, hoping to find something wonderful.
I commonly use the "minus" function in my searches. There are just too many terms that have common alternate meanings, nevermind sellers who try to get your attention by seeding descriptions with popular terms.
It's not worth raising your blood-pressure over these tactics when you can easily screen them!
