Update: The Good and the Bad

I just wanted to let people know. Having reached 51 posts I had tried once again to contact the member through the email system and I was able to.

Unfortunately, as I needed to contact him in a timely matter and was prevented doing so, my message was received too late. I had been looking for a copy of Durland as no libraries near me have a copy and I don't have the funds to purchase a copy. The member I wanted to contact offered up for free (several times with no takers) a copy of Herbert's guide to plate number singles - which contains similar information. He doesn't have it anymore now. If anyone else has a copy of Durland or Herbert's you are no longer using, please let me know.

As mentioned previously in this thread I studied mathematics and am fascinated by numbers. I've never seen either of these publications in person, but have a strong desire to dig into either of them looking at what plate numbers were used.

Thank you
