Just in via ebay - quite a page of M&Ms. I've been watching for a bargain RS56 for quite a while. It's a bit dingy so I'll give it a bath tomorrow. But at 14% of catalog for the lot, I'm pretty happy

Very nice lot. I've deliberately avoided the M&Ms, even though I love the designs, as I don't need yet another dilution of focus and something else to sap my credit cards... err, "wallet". |

Nicely done, southpaw. I dabble in them and know that finding decent looking examples is a challenge. |

I watched that lot as well. Glad you ended up with it,and hope the stamp cleans up well. My early Christmas was a nice R21c for less than a C note. Clean stamp in F-VF condition with no canx. |

It's a nice group. The Clarke is far and away the best stamp in the lot. Anyone who gets serious about collecting m&m's learns that the catalog values do not necessarily represent genuine scarcity. There are some that cat under $20 that are extremely difficult to find in clean sound condition while others that cat hundreds are easily found that way. Disregarding the last paragraph of the intro in the Scott Specialized is also something one learns quickly. |

Sorry Southpaw, wasn't trying to hijack your thread. It is always nice to fill a spot in the album for a great price. I am still searching for an RS96 at a good price. You got a good deal in my mind. |

I finished removing the stamps from the page - each was attached by a single hinge which needed to be soaked off. Overall the stamps were very clean, except for the RS56 which looks like it may have some unremoveable overspray of some sort. Maybe the package spent some time in a garage or something. Soaking helped just a bit. Not many surprises otherwise, just a few thins which I expected. Still, there were ten I was able to add to my collection - RS56, RO148A, RS184D, RS228D, RS262D, RS261, RT24A, RT22A, RT13, RO140B.
And congrats Rusty, I'm still looking for my R21c! |

The RS96 has an awesome design, just like your avatar. I prize those unique designs and it adds a great addition to the normal collection. |
