Come'on --- you must have laughed first when saw price. I just shake my head now when I see crazy prices like that on an item. I often been tempted to contact these jokers and ask them, "What were you smoking when you priced this item?" Now, I ignore them. Unfortunately, you'll never change them; and get-rich-quick guys have always been in the hobby. Unfortunately, dealers like this are in the same class as dealers who sell fakes as real; they are nothing but thieves. There is another problem -- they make honest dealers look bad -- and all ebay cares about is collecting there % off the top. Hal |

What's most amusing about the listing is that this "certified" stamp is NOT an #R134! It's an #R163. |

Quote: What's most amusing about the listing is that this "certified" stamp is NOT an #R134! It's an #R163. Heh. Good catch. I didn't even pay attention to the wording on the "cert" or the title of the listing. All I saw was a cheap battleship revenue with a homemade "cert" being offered for $100. Sure it's a nicely centered stamp... which means you MIGHT get someone to pay $5 for it instead of the 15-25 cents it's normally worth. $100? Hellsno. |

Ask him if it was done by the left side or right side algorithm methodology, as approved by the Bureau of Stamp Standards & Labour, and approved by Her Royal Majesty's Queens Park Rangers and Queens Royal Fusiliers Guard. :>~

I think we should chip in 1 cent each and buy him a pair of "cheater" glasses; that way he can see what he really has and read a catalog price at the same time! I'll chip in another penny to buy two pairs; the second for 'BargainBill'! |
