It may have to do with them having loyal customers. Sometimes loyalty trumps price. Several years ago, a dealer was trying to wholesale some stamp supplies at lower prices to other stamp dealers than their supplier was selling to the other stamp dealers. However, the stamp dealer ran into a lot of opposition from many other stamp dealers because somehow they were very loyal to their supplier even though they were still paying a lot more for their supplies.
