I found a stamp ( Zumstein 83) with 1 side unperforated.
the stamp itself has no value at all.
But I never saw before such a particularity on these kinds of swiss stamp.
Do you think that it can be special with any value?

PS : I didn't found something in the catalogue about that particularity.

What's your opinion?

thank you

I would have to see a better scan of the stamp to make any comment.

You can zoom it

It is sticked to a whole post card

My question is not to determinate if the stamp is genuine or not, but to know( if it is a genuine one) it can have some value.

Looks like it could be the lower right stamp from a booklet pane. The bottom edge appears cut too. The right may have been perforated, but when the sheet was cut into booklet panes, the cutter was not properly aligned with the perforation holes, thereby slicing them off.

That's my hypothesis.

Hard to see, but isn't that a remnant of a perf at the NE corner?

The stamp can come from a booklet.
Does somebody know in which direction are displayed the stamps in these booklets ( Nr 2 or 4 )-horizontally or vertically

In a booklet, for that kind of stamp, there is also and only the 5c (green)

My question is:
Is it possible to have an unperforated side on the right hand for the 10c (red)like that one on the scan and on the top of the stamp for the 5c(green)?

Priatel, there should not be any doubt if there is a bit of value to it. Of course there is - the card was postally used and cancelled. Just don't soak the stamp off, then it would be worthless in my opinion!

I don`t think the Swiss produced booklets until 1904.

Out of my element here since I'm not a specialist in early Swiss material, but it just looks like a damaged (trimmed) stamp to me.

It was, and still is not uncommon for people to separate stamps from a sheet by use of scissors. Often, perforations are ignored and the stamps become damaged. That appears to be the case here.

The fist swiss booklets have been produced in 1904. The mentioned stamp is issuing from one of the first booklets. The cut was not properly aligned with the perforation. This is not common, but only collected from specialists.
