The First Stamp for El Salvador a 1867 Volcano San Miguel, 1/2 c, ( blue ). 1 – A1
I see most stamps are priced for much less With cancelations on them.
the Stamps I have does not have a Cancelations on it, With this stamp the one with cancelation is priced higher then the former,

How can I know if this stamp I have is a real or a forgery?

Thank You For Your Time !

mo, I`m not sure I understand the background to your question. The stamp you posted is probably genuine ... and not all that valuable. I suspect that it is used but because it has no discernible postmark few people would take an interest in it. They would be better off getting a mint version.

Glancing at Yvert, which is what I have to hand, a mint copy is priced at €1.25 and a used copy at €1.50. As KGB says, why forge it?

Many (or at least some) Latin country stamps have higher CV with genuine cancellations. Mint does not always equal higher CV. Also, of course many very inexpensive stamps have been forged.

Yours is a real stamp. The fakes are much more poorly made.
