KGB: I have a few in my Venezuela collection. Note that I'm not an active collector of V. at this time altho did buy a few of the early 1950s coats of arms issues from a dealer about 4 years ago. Most of what Venezuela I do have came from worldwide collections that I've purchased over the years.
I definitely do not agree with the author of the Linn's piece who says they're "hideous."
These unusual Winchester security paper stamps are among my favorites from Venezuela. I should also mention that I collect Latvian map and banknote stamps…
I'm actively collecting Venezuela, but am still in the 'create the pages' stage (just got the specialized catalog in last week). I have a number of the more common examples in my accumulation but nowhere near a full set.
