I click on that button and it doesn't respond. I hate Safari! Thank you. |

I recently bought Steiner pages on CD and have been happily transferring my worldwide collection from a hodge-podge of old albums, binders, stock books and glassines. If Steiner didn't create a page for the stamps I'm currently transferring (minor varieties, Scott unlisted material, etc.), I create my own pages. I use Open Office Presentation (equivalent to PowerPoint) to create the pages. It usually takes me less than five minutes to create a page. Here are some examples: I don't use hinges, mounts only. I cut the mount from strips to completely cover the rectangle printed on the page. The mount is slightly oversized so as to not squash the perf tips. I hope this helps. Robert |

Robert, Its a shame that all the work you put in to adding that text in each stamp box is covered up when you add the stamp to the page |

These are nice pages. I am impressed. My wife and I started playing with power point and trying to come up with something. Is the program you used the free one from Adobe? |

Jay,
Not sure who you are asking...
I use PowerPoint for my pages after converting the Steiner PDFs.

I use OpenOffice, a free download from Oracle. I hear LibreOffice is better, another free download.

OpenOffice is not that great . LibreOffice Draw is the best tool to do it. PowerPoint is design for make digital presentation . I do have a better option since I have the pagemaker version of Steiner pages so I can edit the master with pagemaker and that change all the other pages in 1 shoot. The problem is that Steiner stop to provide them fews years ago and pagemaker just work on Windows XP ( in. VM in my case)
Some reports fonts problem with draw... Well it's an easy fix |

Swell, and to be even more difficult I use Mac. I cannot believe MS doesn't have template for Stamp Album pages. |

At AmeriStamp Expo later this month in Altlana, I am presenting a workshop on Making Your Own Stamp Album. I hope many in this group can attend. The PowerPoint for this presentation will be available after the show. I will also present it at NY2016 in May and StampShow in August in Portland, OR.
