I`m thinking I`ll lease an office in our local bank so that it will be a short walk to the safe deposit boxes.

I would hire a curator, an archivist, a stock clerk, and that secretary who answers the phone "Bialystock & Blo-om! Bialystock & Blo-om!" ...
... I would also setup and/or support a lab to do some serious work on characterizing ink/color varieties.
Cheers,

I like to think I'd go visit all those countries I collect, but I'd probably end up blowing the whole wad on $3 stamp packets and bulk kiloware. After a couple of years, you'd be reading my obituary; cause of death, found suffocated under a pile of stamps. |

I would buy one of the two dozen countries worth less than the $1.5 BILLION it will be worth by Wednesday. Then I would control the stamp issuance policy. Nothing but legitimate topics on the stamps of Kurtopia!! Like Disney and Michael Jackson and the Kardashians and American pop-culture stuff that has nothing to do with Kurtopian Kulture! Oh... wait... we already GOTS DAT! OK then. How about quality engraved issues with my face on all of them!

With that money you could have your very own stamp museum. And just for fun buy every single stamp and cover on ebay. Spend 5 million on penny blacks, buy every rare stamp in every stamp shop in the world. Hire some people to keep them all in good order and guard the collection. |

I would be able to travel more and actually buy things at auctions in person for once (and won't be beaten either). I could scour flea markets and stamp shows around the world for hidden bargains of postal history. I might even actually pay for an ebay store. Oh yea...updated Scott catalogs. |

I would raid Seebeck's grave, clone him, and flood the market with reprints of the stamps of Kurtopia. |
