Both of these used in May 1944 during world war two. The second one is postal stationery Australia H&G. I see examples of it between $40-$60

For FDC I usually stay away from these as the market is very poor for them. You maybe lucky to get $5 for the Food 1953 FDC above. If you want to see values search for these on ebay.com and see what other sellers are listing them for. It may save you loading up all the pics

I see. So how did you get into stamps. I started around 35 years ago and have been buying ever sense. I sold One book once then found out that I was low balled by the stamp dealer when I went to a show. Have not sold any more but I do stop by his table and bring some nice stuff to show him than wait for him to ask . Do you want to sell them. So I can say No not today .lol

My area of selling is postal history which includes stamped covers and pre-stamp. Also the odd stamped postcards. My best sellers are penny reds on covers. I try to avoid FDC as there's no money in it. If you sell to dealers you will get the lowest prices for your material, your better off selling them yourself online. I choose ebay because it has the biggest online audience of collectors. But their fees are huge. But ebay is a very good place to search for the covers you have in your collection and see if other sellers have listed the same cover. You can usually get a ball park figure of what your philatelic material might fetch on the open market by seeing what prices they sell the same item for. A lot of sellers on the bay also put quiet good info in their listings to. You can often find the cover on ebay if you search the country and year and scroll through the results. Hope that helps

Something not right about this cover. Part of the cancellation is missing. I wonder if there was something else on this cover which has been removed.

Regards
Frank
