Hello from snowy NC! I'm usually posting over in the US BOB section, so I just want to say HI! and show some very interesting NZ revenues I picked up at the Columbia SC show last weekend. I finally was able to get them out today and I'm wondering - What are they? Where can I find them in a catalog? Do they have much value? Some have very large denominations, like some US revenues, so I would imagine so. Any help would be appreciated!

Dave Elsmore's New Zealand Revenue Stamps is a useful resource:

Some of the lower values of the "Victoria" series were used postally and command premium prices either mint or with postal cancels. Same is true of the subsequent "Arms" issues. Even with fiscal cancels, they are becoming more collectible, but of lesser value. Very nice material and good acquisition!

New Zealand collectors also carefully watch some of the higher value earlier postal issues - like the 2/ and 5/ second side-face issue or the 2/ and 5/ 1898 through 1901 pictorial issues. These stamps were often used for fiscal purposes but were intended for postal use. There is a big difference in value for used copies depending on the usage.
