I find it interesting that there are a great many stamps from Bermuda that are worth more in used condition than in mint. I suppose that this must be due to scarcity, with more mint stamps being sold to dealers and tourists than actually having been used for mail.

Anyhow, here is a nicely-centered copy a SC# 109 with a light cancel.

There is something "fishy" about it though!

Al, the same situation is true for the early stamps of Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles for instance. One of the reasons could be that they are fairly small countries with not much mail going around, especially the unusual denominations. Another reason could be that the stamps of these countries were sold to collectors by agencies?
