Greetings. For the benefit of all FDC collectors interested in the issue I have embarked on a project to produce a full color catalog of all known cachets, reminiscent to the Mellone catalog format. The catalog may be viewed gratis at
http://www.fdcusa.com/AFDCS/FDC_Cat...ue_5008.PDF. Right at 200 different cachet designs have been identified so far in just a week and a half!
If you have any items that are not illustrated, please forward a scan (300 DPI+) and a description to me for inclusion (contact info in catalog).
The success of the catalog depends on everyone contributing. And the catalog will ALWAYS be available at no charge.
