acanalizo: Not sure that this is what you're looking for, but a set of 4 covers (one of the U.S. or Canadian stamps on each) with FDC cancelations are available on usps.com. Canadian cancel is from Windsor, Ontario.
If this doesn't help, you might visit http://canadapost.ca/shop. They have a help feature for answering questions.

acanlizo,

Official First Day Covers

Customers wishing to have their own first day cover cancelled are to forward the self-addressed cover to the National Philatelic Centre in Antigonish.

NATIONAL PHILATELIC CENTRE
Canada Post
75 ST NINIAN ST
ANTIGONISH NS B2G 2R8

The cover is to be mailed early enough to arrive at the destination for the first day of sale of the new stamp. A charge per cover is levied for stamp affixing, cancellation and return through the regular mail service.

Cancellation of first day covers is available free of charge to customers who take their cover to a post office.

On request, philatelists may obtain a clear cancellation of philatelic covers by taking them to a post office and handing them in with a second envelope bearing a complete and valid postal address and sufficient postage to enable such mail items to be forwarded to the addressee through regular mail delivery channels.

Such requests received by a postmaster for cancellation and reposting will be complied with only if the volume of the covers does not disrupt regular postal services.

This does not sound like you get a grace period like here in the US.

For clarification, the phone number for "Philatelic Customer Service" is 1-800-565-4362 (from Canada and the United States).

Basil

In a way I think the Canadian approach is a bit more realistic. If you have a "First Day Cover" here it may be real or it may be fantasy ( cancelled 30 days later ).

Found these in the APC at my post office today.

To clarify, I bought these from APC (or SSK if you prefer). I've not seen any announcement or other news about this new stamp. A clerk at the post office said they were loaded into the APC last week.

No, they were loaded in the machine and I bought them. Sorry if that wasn't clear. A clerk that was helping me because the machine was malfunctioning said that she loaded the stock into the machine last week. There was a small round sign attached to the machine with a picture of the new stamp which caught my eye as I walked past it on the way to my PO box.

Glenn,

Are you still wondering where to get the Canadian hockey stamps canceled?

Quote:
From Stamp Fulfillment Services via Rollin:

The USPS will NOT be selling the Canadian postage separately. We will only be selling joint issue products. We will have the Canadian cancellation available only for 30 days from the FDOI. All requests for the Canadian FDOI cancellation will need to be postmarked by 11/20/2017 to be serviced.

H/T Foster from the "other" SCF.
