Hi all,

Thanks for allowing me to register on your forum. My first post!
Hope I can contribute some here
!
I had a question for the aficionados amongst us regarding a stamp collection we have come across in a recent clear out.

It is the complete mint collection of stamps from the Doolittle Raiders 50th Anniversary celebration, signed, by, what I believe to be 22 (looks like 22 signitures including gen dolittle himself) of the raiders.

I haven't seen many of these for sale or trade so have no real 'value' to attribute to them. I am sure they must be worth something to someone.

I have attached some pictures to see if anyone can tell me a little more about them.
Any help is appreciated!

Wow, thank you Randy! Appreciate that - from the link it would seem that these are genuine, and all signitures are there and visible!
I'm not a huge fan of ebay myself but good to know they are of some value! If you can help point me in the direction of other information/collectors of these items I'd be most grateful!

Thank you all!

Randy, thank you for your continued help! You are a gentleman & a scholar.
These links are great information.
Having looked all over, I am now certain these are 100% genuine - I have not yet seen a signed stamp collection by these great men, though I see some prints from the golden anniversary are going for thousands on ebay.

Do you have any advice for someone looking to sell this kind of item? I have contacted ASDA for appraisal, but I genuinely have no idea as to their worth on estimate.

An item such as this should have a COA. Certificate of Authenticity.

Heritage Auctions is a good place to contact about value and obtaining a COA.
