Looking forward to seeing you at the March Party Thursday-Saturday in Cleveland. Warm but likely to be a bit rainy - perfect spring stamp show weather! The APS will be represented at the show and Executive Director Scott English will be in attendance, along with the annual meeting of the Eire Philatelic Association and a regional meeting of PNC3.

Paperhistory, I received the "American Philatelist" yesterday, and saw the picture of the cupcakes that a PNC3 member had made for the Garfield-Perry party. Great idea!

Sorry Soccerfan. The Garfield-Perry club is one of the oldest stampclubs in the country. It is named after President James A. Garfield and Oliver Hazard Perry, the hero of the Battle of Lake Erie. The stamp club meets in Independence, OH, a suburb of Cleveland.

Thanks. You'll find that cupcake photo on the club Facebook page as well - it was the inspiration of G-P member and PNC enthusiast Ray Beer.

Paperhistory, I do not do Facebook, but I do know Ray pretty good through the PNC3 club. I take it you are a Garfield-Perry member - I wished I wasn't so far away!

Thanks Peter. Events are more fun when they're named after famous people and food is involved! How many people attended the event?
