I have seen your work with Scribus, and it looks great. I have been meaning to learn that for quite a while. I think I will try it this weekend.

BeeSee,

If you're going to do stamp albums with Scribus, give my software a try. Makes it a lot easier. If you'd like to read-up on it first, a copy of the manual is here.

I have to say, as someone who designs his own pages and gives them away, I love the idea of this. My pages involve a lot of research, because I add descriptions and stamp images. But that may be the beauties of an open source project. Two sets of pages, one "basic" and one "deluxe."

I love the Steiner pages for their price and their convenience. However, the most viewed/popular collection I have is a small collection of Dead Countries. I swiped an idea from DC Stamps and custom made my pages, including a map and a short history of the dead country. People seem to connect to the brief "history lesson" better than "just looking at a book full of stamps."

The open source idea is awesome. Recently, I downloaded a Scouts on Stamps page from apastuszak's stamp hacks website. The end result is not something that you'd recognize from his site, but he gave me the inspiration and the foundation from which to start. Running across his page (I was actually looking at his Ukraine pages and thinking about how to adapt them for my Haiti collection) injected new joy into a collection (Boy Scouts) that had sat dormant on my bookshelf for many years.

That's the joy of the hobby and I think the greatest benefit a project such as this puts forth - it re-energizes, motivates and drives creativity.

Here we go. I fix the damage wheel

1- More available fonts, no more reason to not open it in Draw
2- Way less guessing on witch stamps go in a box, I added colors
3- For a series one photo of each different design will be included

of course it's a simplified album, so no watermarks , perforations varieties, the idea is to have a very representative album, with a clean presentation.

Now the photo, I put those one rapidly yesterday I was with my Laptop, I will use scan of mint stamps as much as I can, enhanced with Photoshop to give a drawing look. If you look in the midle , left stamp, this is what it will look. The 2 othrs stamps was just place them to give an idea.

I still need input from Hungarian if I use the word Krajcáros or Krajcár, as you see it's way more research than just copy a Scott catalogue

Also , I use Engraved and Lithography, can I end litho with Lithographed ? the corrector of draw don't like it
