Sharpie Removal ... for you offended experimenters out there:

http://amodexink.com/ ... Amodex. Many stains. One solution.

http://amodexink.com/commercial-testimonials/ ... Testimonials from Crayola & Paper Mate & Pilot & Sharpie ...

As in all experiments, start with the stamps you can live without, remembering to test like before treating like.

Good Luck!

sharpie used on stamps we consider of so low a value we use them for postage, you could get some MNH stamps for the cost and problem of removing it.

jim6092252, Greetings:

You misapprehend the human dynamic involved.

The marker monkeys sharpie the stamps to spite us.

We clean those stamps to spite the marker monkeys.

Cost/benefit does not apply

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey

Yes! As Andy Griffith would say in his role as the penny-pinching attorney, Ben Matlock, "It's the principle of the thing!"

Alcohol takes Sharpie right out. 95% ethanol and 91% rubbing alcohol work great.

My son wrote on a friend's dry erase board with Sharpie and she spent hours scrubbing it with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and didn't get it 100%. I cam over with some 91% rubbing alcohol is spray bottle and it was gone in 2 wipes and 10 seconds.
