I thought this was interesting. Not listed in the ACSC, but probably a piece of paper stuck in the lower right numeral block.

You are correct it is from a bit of foreign matter on the plate. I believe the Aussie collectors refer to this as a "bullet hole" flaw.

ACSC: Australian Commonwealth Specialists Catalog. Very handy for study of the Roos and King George V issues.

One of mine its from a rare plate 1A die 2 & has two "Bullet Holes"

Now those bullet holes make mine look like a bee-bee gun. Nice example.

Is that also a flaw connecting the E's of Three and Pence?
