Today I discovered a double flaw in my 2d Queen Victoria from New South Wales. It's not a particularly rare stamp but I thought it was quite remarkable still fixed in a pair like this. Could someone tell me what the catalogvalue would be as a flawed pair?

The first thing you'll need to establish is if it is a constant flaw or just some debris on the plate during printing. If you send a note to staff (bottom right corner) you can ask them to move it to the newly created Australian stamp forum where the knowledgeable Aussie collectors with the specialized catalogs hang out.

I'd be more interested in the "Boat" cancel. Looks to be packet boat (Paquebot) ?

Well as you can see with the star it's about extra ink so flaking of is out of the question. Also I have tried boiling water on stamps and know the result doesn't even remotely resemble this.
