The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology is a public research university in Haifa, Israel. The stamp design features the logo of the institute - a triangle, a flame, and a cogwheel - but with a Penrose triangle.

Here are images of the two similar stamps in a set depicting a cotton boll inside a cogwheel, printed by lithography, and issued by Syria on February 26, 1963 to publicize the Cotton Festival held in Aleppo, Scott Nos. 455 & 456.
