I need some help identifying these 4 stamps.

I did read the previous post on these 2 stamps but still not sure on the half shilling one.

Thick paper with some gum still on back.

This one I'm pretty sure it's a fake but I don't know. very thin paper. Also what looks like the remnants of 2 perfs in the upper left corner.

These next 2 I was wondering about value.

Thanks for any info.

The last stamp might be this one, though stamped "Official."

The bars on your stamp are interesting and might be significant.

The first one seems to match a Type IV forgery of Bergedorf #1 as listed in the Germany Philatelic Society's forgery manuals. I could be mistaken as the Type IV is a decent forgery and some of the differences are subtle. However, the lettering on your example seems to be a closer match to the forgery than the genuine. The second one appears to be a Type II forgery of Bergedorf #5.

The Argentine stamp is likely a counterfeit. There is no Accent on the "U" in Republica and the "C" in Centavos appears to be a "Narrow C". Scott lists a 5 Centavo stamp having these characteristics as Scott #7H (1864). Scott also notes that any 10 or 15 Centavo stamp with these characteristics is considered counterfeit. Cannot speak to any value in this case.

I agree with the above post regarding the British Guiana Stamp and the official overprint and bars. If I interpret the Scott catalogue correctly, via the photos, the bars could be type "c" - two horizontal lines (more like 1 having a double width) and one vertical line. The only stamp with this Design (A13) on a 6 Cent chocolate stamp with official and this type c surcharge would be Scott #86. This has a healthy $135 value for VF Used and $725 for Mint. So then the question becomes are both the "Official" and the bar cancels authentic, and in that area I cannot provide much help. This one is seems to be worth checking out in greater detail even with a nicked corner.

Hope this helps.
