Having read the interesting thread on Zeppelin covers and in reference to another thread about artwork on covers I'm putting up these examples from my collection. I hope you like them. As a note, there were thousands Zeppelin flight covers produced but many, many fewer Donier DO-X ones. You will find many dozen Zeppelin covers on ebay at any given time but only 2 or 3 from the DO-X. Cheers! Wolf

Those are fantastic! It looks like they operated out of Friedrickshafen on Lake Constance as well, eh? Those are terrific. Thanks for sharing.

I did not erase the original dealer/seller price on them. I'd sure like to be able to buy them at that price today. In addition, the senders "to" address is pretty cool as well. It almost looks like he had a hand stamp to make them. Great calligraphy! Wolf-==-

Hi Stampwolf, please don't erase the dealer's price because you'll damage the hand-illustration. These drawings will always maintain a premium on these beautiful covers.
