Thanks to all of you that helped me learn, and
understand many things!

I have now enjoyed hundreds of hours on this
very respectful "Stamp Community" site.

This block was certified last Thursday, March 17th,
Saint Patrick's Day, after a four month waiting period.

rlm,

you are on fire-- nicely done!

Did PF really take 4 months???? Anxiety provoking?

I don`t blame them; the arguments about color alone could have burned up three months...

When I stated four month's , it was not to
be a complaint regarding their service. This block
was sent with the 830b, which may have taken longer
regarding color.
Is it normal for them to finish with both items,
when two are sent together?
I am pleased with the results. I could have called them
every other day for an update. I do not think that
would have helped!

I agree that 830b could be a tough call without a good reference, perhaps they had to send it out to an expert in prexies.
4 months just sounds like a long time. Did you have any other items that you sent in or just the two plate blocks?

Results were good so I'm sure it was all worth the wait. I would have lost 15 pounds from anxiety after the first 8 weeks

RG, Thanks. PF is the hands down expert on this issue!
They are the reference point. They must be very busy.
Anyone's opinion on that fact, would be appreciated.
Yes, in the past, I have sent other items out for certs, not to PF.

It seems as if this block has brought me full circle.

It will be offered by Robert A. Siegel Auction Galleries, Inc. Sale 1187 United States Stamps - July 25-26, 2018. Lot # 630.

Included are two other # 500's. One with plate block number and another well centered example.
