I think these are from 2002
Does anyone know what company produced them?

Yep, the Dutch PTT. These were the same idea as the stamps we get from the post office - the cute ones with Charlie Brown on them this past Christmas. The also seem to do the same as the computer generated ones that the clerk prints out and uses instead of stamps. The Dutch ones come in all sorts of denominations.

Over the last 10-15 years, many European countries have allowed private carriers not only for parcels, but also for letters. Complicating the matter is the merging, buying, and selling of these delivery companies. In Germany, for example, there are dozens (if not more) of these private carriers.

I have some of these "PT Post" Dutch labels, and also some different ones from TNT, TPG, and Relipost. I have been unsuccessful in finding information about these specific labels - PT Post.

As a collector of computer vended postage, I am positive that these are not government issues...not as letter postage, anyway.

Bookbndrbob, these were issued by the Dutch PTT as I stated above. PTT ( Post, Telefoon, Telegraaf ) was the official Post Office in the Netherlands until it changed some years ago.
The labels above were used by the post office - I used bought and them and so did some of my brothers and sisters. And yes, I still have some letters and packages with these on them!

Peter, Michel Automatenmarken-Spezial-Katalog does not list this item. I think it would be classified as a meter. By definition, an ATM label/stamp must be available to the individual customer through a machine (typically in a post office lobby, airport, or mall). A meter is applied by a postal employee to a specific package or letter and is always dated at the time of use.

If you have one of these PT Post labels on a small cover, that would be a nice item.

Here's a Swiss meter cover I found in the dollar box at a stamp show.

Please note that the stamps read PTT Post, not PT Post. The second T from PTT overlaps the P from Post. PTT Post was the privatised company that - at the time - had a monopoly on the Dutch market. PTT Post in 2002 became TPG Post, then TNT Post and is now PostNL. All have used the meter stamps.

While doing some research for these types of meter stamps, I came upon this wiki...
