Does anybody have any explanation for how the cover below could've gotten postmarked in Moosonee, Ontario? I'm assuming the cover is from the Four Seasons hotel in Toronto, but it's addressed to someone in Toronto, not Moosonee. The only thing I can think of is that someone in Moosonee had a pre-stamped envelope from the Four Seasons hotel and used it to send something to Toronto.
Back in the day, even simple hotels and motels offered free stationary. Folks would often place it in their bags and use it later in their travels or even from home.
P.S. Why do you think the enveloped was pre-stamped?
It actually has nothing to do with the hotel, but Canada issued a set of stamps called The Four Seasons. The Canada Post also issued a theme pack for the stamps and that envelope was part of the package - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Canada-THE-...AOSwpDdVTUZa
Someone just used the envelope for other purposes.
