OK, Philatelists. I have this unusual label/sticker. I found amongst a small hoarde of stamps. I think the language is Danish and it roughly translates to "Thank you for finally we have seen in Svendborg"
Any ideas?

Edit: "In the summer of 1994, Svendborg invaded by 41,570 active athletes followed by the corresponding number of children, spouses, friends, sports enthusiasts and curious spectators."

Nice find! Thank you Don, your help is much appreciated! in conjunction with your information, I was able to find out the following!

National games is a recurring sports event organized by the Danish Gymnastics and Sports Associations (DGI) and the Danish Shooting (DDS) every four years. In the summer of 1994, Svendborg invaded by 41,570 active athletes followed by the corresponding number of children, spouses, friends, sports enthusiasts and curious spectators.

Landsstćvne is today a popular celebration of the sporting associations. Several thousand people gather to play sports, watch gymnastics and have fun.

The first national convention was held in 1862 , and was only for shooters . Activities have since spread to include gymnastics , soccer , handball , badminton , agility , petanque , beach volleyball and more
