Hi

Is this a precancel or just a boxed cancel? I canīt find the city in the precancel Database.

Regards

Looks very much like one. What is the city - it is too blurred

Niobe ND, it is a known POSTCANCEL, cited in the Cummings Fake reference.

What is a "POSTCANCEL"? I have never seen that term used before and I've been a postal history collector for almost 50 years.

In the precancel community, a postcancel is a cancel that is NOT a recognized precancel [even though it might look like one] . When stamps are on-cover, they are pretty easy to distinguish as they usually extend onto the cover. When off-cover, they can be tricky and most of them are listed in the Cummings reference.
