I absolutely love this foil stamp; I'm a space nerd, and I think it's gorgeous. But I can't seem to find out much about it. Does anyone know more about this stamp than the release date (July 1969)?

Hello, welcome to the board. I don't really know anything about this particular stamp off the top of my head, but in case it helps, it is Scott# C102, issued in July 1969, in honor of Apollo 8. Catalog value is listed at $20 in either mint or used condition. They list it as being die-cut perf 10 1/2. There may be others here who know more about this particular stamp, but that's all I have.

There was a little rash of these in the French area - there's definitely a 2000 Fr one from Mali.
