The stamp shown below appears to be a combination of Scott #109 (perforated 12 horizontally) and Scott #130 (coil, perforated 8 vertically). Has anyone seen this variety?

The picture is too small to see, but could it be that someone changed a coil stamp? By adding perforations on top and bottom?

Peter is likely correct.

"Sheets intended for the manufacture of perforated 8 coil stamps were sold in vertical pairs and blocks, so that the adjacent stamps are imperforate between. Some of these varieties are actually quite inexpensive."
