Need help with an identification. Is this a cracked plate, scratch, or something else? Checked revenue collector's site, but he doesn't have a picture of one.

I am leaning towards a scratch. A cracked plate is usually not that clean looking in my opinion.

More than likely a scratch. Besides being pretty straight, a crack usually, not always, continues off some distance, and not just begin and end in the middle of somewhere and being straight.
