Nice link you posted there, nice to hear someone found something that wasn't possible. As for your stamp just do the research on watermarks. I know nothing about Australian stamps. But you can't tell watermarks from just the front of the stamp. It takes soaking the stamp and look for a sometime very faint image to appear. Also can cause some sense of insanity after looking though thousands of stamps. Like your link said that is one out of a billion plus printed with a possible 119 others out there. Would be nice not likely.
Watermarks on early Australian stamps are very easy to see from the back, when placed on a black surface. You may have to soak with proper fluid, but they are usually viewable. There is some slight differences in the first, second and third watermarks, and some are inverted, so good luck.
