Not exactly sure what these are called when a stamp is printed directly on the stationary but I assume that this one is Japanese. I would like to know the date it was issued. Thanks, Jim

Thanks KGB. Your photo has the c in a circle down by the horses rear leg and mine doesn't. What does this signify? On the link you provided, I see it both ways and it mentions Taiwan and Korean issuance. Which ones are Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean? Jim

The 'C in a circle' is simply a copyright mark that the Web site placed on the image.

Cut corner, corner square. Postal stationary POSTAL CARD.
New Kusunoki postal cards issued for Taiwan and Korea are surcharged.

I forgot to write down the first one. The second one is from Korea.

PS - Post cards are the ones you have add a stamp to mail. Postal Card comes pre-franked.
