As e have noted in the past, there are hundreds of varieties not listed in nScott. Where are they listed? Usually in specialized societies, unless it is really a huge error.
In my own area of collecting, the Transportation Coils I have oodles of varieties that are listed in the monthly journals but never make it into any catalog.

Ok - I just thought that when everybody talks about "219v" there must be a place where it is named "219v". But it seems that everything with a "v" is just made a "v" by the people talking about it.

The "v" is merely a common suffix for any non-listed "variety" beyond the scope level of the particular catalog you are using.

Hello stamperix, and all, I too have found a few candle flames, I have a 1000 #219 and found 2 candle flames, HOWEVER I found only 1 #279 candle flame, I too am curious as to it's rarity or value, stamerix (or anyone) have you learned anything more in your research about this
