There is a KGV book called " The Australian Commonwealth Specialist's Catalogue" "King George V"

The 2014 edition is around $125.

The 2007 edition is around $40

There is heaps of very specialised KGV books for the printings. They are call fly specking books as they deal in great detail all know flaw plus on all denominations, watermarks, perforations, printers. But to take this step you really need to be to collect bulk lots of KGV's and also possibly take a liking to one area or + many others.

Most of the fly specking books are the work of UK collectors years ago and usually come as photocopied books these days.

I highly recommend the 2014 book as it is MUCH more detailed, better pictures, and everything. Unfortunately, they are still lacking any color pictures and you still have to look hard for some of the plate varieties as they are only explained later in the book (not by the picture itself). Still, the ACSC is an excellent resource.
