IMO (In My Opinion), the A looks to have a very minor inking problem and would not increase nor decrease the value of the stamp. I do see a much more pronounced ink problem in the thick blue line to the bottom left of KON. I do not know if that is significant enough to affect the value of the stamp or not. Both inking problems which occure during a transfer of ink to the paper are fairly common on early stamps.Maybe you already have heard or read the philatelic term EFO (error, freak, oddity) used in english. Generally, unless I am mistaken, an error can increase a stamp value or at least make it more collectible. A freak or oddity is less likely to increase the value.
As for the inverted double headed eagle which I assume is the cancel, it is not well defined but never the less does not appear to mo to be inverted.
Thank you a lot, and please have a look at the area between the bottom of the stamp (under 10 KOP.) and the horns (I see there a ghost of the eagle with arrows, horns etc but upside down... please have a closer look to see it) also the centered eagle has got some ghost lines around in the center around the eagle itself).
Robi13, I am not sure exactly what you mean by "ghost" and "ghost lines". However, I am thinking that "ghost" and "ghost lines" refers to what we call "cancel". Yes, I see the eagle cancel (ghost) that is inverted (upside down) and also that which is in the center around the eagle itself. If I am correct that ghost refers to the cancel , then I can say that inverted cancels are quite common and generally do not add any value to a stamp and may in fact lower the value when the cancel is not clear due to too much ink on the cancel device. An upside down cancel occurs when a postal employee holds the cancel device or envelope upside down when applying the cancel. It can also occur if the stamp itself was attached upside down to the envelope.
