Somehow I loaded the wrong photo in my last post. Just wondered if these are real or some sort of fake. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for any help on this. Jim
Looks genuine to me. It appears to have the requirement of the 73 pearls for genuine stamps. Check the watermark. It's hard to see any watermark because of those thin shadows going across the stamp. If it is watermark 104 or 105, then definitely genuine. If unwatermarked, then it is probably Cuba #14 in the Scott catalog.
Sorry, I've gotten a lot lazier as the years go by. Yes KGB is correct -- the pearls are the "dots" that comprise the circle around the profile. Just don't ask me how I know you had 73 of them on your stamps.
