The primary factor is the period of use. Because of the rate of inflation at the time, some of the inflation issues ware only in use for a very short period. These can be very valuable used. The majority, however, were in use for longer periods, and were used in massive quantities to cover the rising costs of postage, so they're extremely common used.

You'd really need to consult the Michel catalog to know for sure which ones are valuable and which ones aren't.

For example, your 2 Millionen on 200 Mark stamp is a variety of MiNr 309 A. Michel lists 5 different varieties of MiNr 309 A, depending on printing method (flat plate vs. rotary press) and color. Used copies of those 5 vary in catalog price from €2 to €1,100.

PM, just so I get it right, Robi's cancelled stamp wouldn't really be of interest, would it? We have no means of dating the cancel, right?

Correct. Even if it was one of the uncommon varieties, it would most likely not command much interest because there's no way to verify the cancel.

PostmasterGS is right, generally speaking for the inflation era, the mint with hinge (MH) value will be applied to such stamps used without proper cancels, if in good condition. For the varieties, same idea:

2) Nr.219 "M" von Mark mit verlängertem Fußstrich that (MH value of the plate flaw will applied).

Historically they are much nicer especially with the readable cancels.

If you work with Michel Catalogue, the 8 Thousand is Nr.278X in period cancellation and the pair they are Nr.291a (rose) in period cancellation.
