Similar but not the same. Check the size and shape of the shifted lines on the lower right balls.

I notice that his example is not as crisply printed as mine is; could that not be the culprit?

To me, it seems to be the same DT but my example doesn't have the same clarity of printing as mentioned.

This can happen if the same double transfer (DT) variety is printed for some time as the plate wears down going from sharp to dull impression.

Dans shift is mostly South whereas Al E. Gator's stamp shows a shift more Southwest. On Dan's stamp the shift of the lower right ball cups almost the entire bottom of the ball. The other stamp shows the shift cupping only the west half of the ball. Karl
