Where are Ryukyu islands listed in the Scott Catalog? I have 2 and can't find the islands listed anywhere.

JP they are in volume 1 same as Canal Zone..

Ryukyu Islands only issued stamps while under US administration.

You will find them in Scott WW Volume 1 after in the US possessions section after Puerto Rico and before UN.

It is also listed in depth in the Scott US Specialized.

I would suggest using the index at the back of each volume for questions like these. Only in exceptional cases you will not find an answer there.

KHJ thats because I had to type in radio school in the service..but the typewriter only had capital letters ....

Now that I recall I think it was a Western Union typewriter ..that was a long time ago !!
